8. Lifetime Warranty

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover wear and tear, misuse, improper care, or external damage.

Full details are available in our Lifetime Warranty section.

9. Lifetime Warranty

Our Commitment to Lasting Excellence

Every piece in our collection is crafted to be worn and lived in. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship unconditionally — and this warranty is our promise that any failure on our end will always be made right.

A) What This Warranty Covers

Our Lifetime Warranty covers defects in craftsmanship and materials that arise under normal use. Covered issues include, but are not limited to:

Prong failure or loosening that causes gemstone loss
Solder joint separation or structural failure of metal components
Clasp or closure malfunction not caused by physical damage
Setting defects that compromise gemstone security
Manufacturing flaws in metal integrity, including porosity or inclusions in the casting
Plating delamination on items sold as plated, subject to fair use assessment

Warranty service includes inspection, repair, re-tipping of prongs, re-soldering, replacement of defective components with equivalent materials, and professional polishing at the time of repair.

B) What This Warranty Does Not Cover

Our jewellery is made to accompany your life — but like any fine object, it requires a degree of care to maintain its integrity over time. This warranty does not cover deterioration or damage resulting from improper use or insufficient care of the piece.

For guidance on how to properly care for your jewellery and keep it looking its best for years to come, please refer to the Care Guide in the following section.

The warranty also does not cover:

Surface scratches, scuffs, and natural patina resulting from daily use
Gradual thinning of metal shanks or prongs over extended wear
Natural fading or colour shift of organic gemstones over time
Loss of a gemstone when a prong is visibly worn and professional re-tipping was not sought in time
Damage caused by repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by a jeweller other than us

Gemstone-Specific Provisions

Our pieces are set with natural gemstones, laboratory-grown gemstones, diamonds, and moissanite. Each material has its own characteristics, and the following provisions apply across all of them.

Setting loss is covered across all gemstone types when caused by prong failure or a manufacturing defect in the setting.

Diamonds and moissanite are among the hardest materials known — diamonds being the hardest substance on earth, and moissanite second only to diamonds in hardness. Under normal wear, neither will chip or fracture. Damage of this nature, should it ever occur, would be the result of extraordinary force and is excluded from warranty coverage.

Natural and laboratory-grown gemstones vary widely in hardness and composition. Natural inclusions, growth characteristics, and variations in colour or clarity are inherent to the material and are not considered manufacturing defects. Colour change or deterioration in treated stones over time is not covered.

Pearls and organic materials, when applicable, are subject to natural ageing. Surface changes that develop over time through normal wear are not covered.

For all gemstone types, loss or damage resulting from improper care or neglect — rather than a defect in the piece itself — falls outside the scope of this warranty. Please refer to the Care Guide in the following section.

C) How to Make a Warranty Claim

1. Contact our customer care team via email or through our official website describing the issue.
2. You will receive a prepaid shipping label to send your piece to our atelier for inspection.
3. Our jewellers will assess whether the issue falls within warranty coverage. This typically takes 2–10 business days upon receipt.
4. If covered, the repair will be completed at no charge and the piece returned with complimentary shipping.
5. If the issue falls outside the scope of this warranty, you will receive a full assessment and a repair quote before any work begins.

Proof of purchase may be requested. Original receipts or order confirmations serve as proof of warranty eligibility.

D)  Transferability

This Lifetime Warranty is issued to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It applies to pieces purchased directly from us or through authorised retail partners. Pieces acquired through secondary markets or resellers are not eligible for warranty coverage.

E) Limitation of Liability

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective piece or component, at our sole discretion. We shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary by jurisdiction.

F) Amendments

We reserve the right to amend the terms of this warranty at any time. The version in effect at the date of original purchase shall govern all claims arising from that purchase.

10. Jewellery Care

Our pieces are designed for everyday wear and crafted to maintain their beauty for years to come. Like all fine jewellery, regular cleaning and maintenance are essential to preserve brilliance, sparkle and overall appearance.

Failure to properly maintain your jewellery may affect its appearance over time and is not considered a manufacturing fault.

For pieces worn daily

We recommend cleaning your jewellery approximately once per week.

For pieces worn occasionally

We recommend cleaning your jewellery at least once per month, even during periods of limited wear.

Recommended Cleaning Method

  1. Place the jewellery in a solution of lukewarm water and mild, neutral soap for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, gently clean the entire piece. Particular attention should be given to stone settings, galleries and areas where natural buildup may accumulate.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Dry completely using a soft, lint-free cloth.
  5. For best results, finish by applying warm air from a hairdryer for a few moments to ensure all moisture has evaporated and to help restore the jewellery’s natural brilliance.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

For customers who own an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner, we recommend incorporating ultrasonic cleaning into the same maintenance schedule outlined above.

When used correctly, ultrasonic cleaning can help remove buildup from areas that are difficult to reach through manual cleaning alone and assist in maintaining maximum brilliance.

A Simple Rule

The jewellery that receives regular cleaning is the jewellery that remains beautiful.

A few minutes of maintenance each week can help preserve the appearance, sparkle and overall beauty of your Rubielle piece for years to come.
